Wanted to see for myself how easy it would be to grow mint indoors and whether or not the stems grow roots in water.
Turns out they do. They grow really well inside with minimal lighting and the roots grow off little sprigs in water after about 7-10 days. From there it's really simple just to pot them and keep growing it. Easiest transfer ever, gives you a better head start than growing from a seed and is much more reliable. Were this to be a start up company this would be how to produce all the mint plants to package up and send out.
Also, I'm an avid peppermint tea drinker already. I usually drink it daily but although I've got multiple species of mint in my garden I've never made tea from it before. Holy moses! Fresh Apple Mint tea is so delicious. Only needed a few leaves and the drink was packed with sweet flavour
